MAC ’s career
The story of MAC 's began 30 years ago with Canadian dry food, five sled dogs and the right instinct. Werner Koller began importing high-quality pet food from the USA and later Canada. At the same time, sons Michael and Markus were racing sled dogs with their Alaskan Huskies. Since huskies need to drink water before racing, a high-energy meat product was developed together with a small butcher shop in nearby Düren to meet the special requirements of sporting dogs. The product was sold as wet food to sled dog athletes. Very soon, due to demand from owners of normally active dogs, a range of wet food based on meat and rice was developed. This range gave rise to the brand MAC 's, which is now loved by so many furry friends.
In 2016, management of the company was handed over to the two sons Michael and Markus Koller . After their studies, they followed in their father's footsteps and became the new generation of Pro Pet. Sister Christiane is present in the background and Werner and Veronika Koller are always available to give advice and support.
Due to the constant growth, Michael and Markus Koller decided to open a production facility in the Eifel in 2018. A production facility for wet food was set up in Schleiden-Gemünd. The brothers work diligently on developing and expanding the existing product range.
The production plant has the advantage that transport routes have been significantly shorter. This means that we can operate and produce in a more environmentally friendly manner with significantly lower CO2 emissions.

MAC ’s dog biscuits – without baking!
Celebrate 30 years of MAC ’s with us and try out our delicious dog biscuit recipe now. Your dog will love it!
Ingredients
lactose-free cottage cheese or quark
1-2 grated carrots
preparation
Line a cake tin with baking paper and spread some wet food on the bottom. Spread a layer of cottage cheese or curd on top and sprinkle with grated carrots. Then spread about a handful MAC 's dry food over it, because the dry food binds the cake. Then there is another layer of wet food and, if you want, additional layers of cottage cheese and wet food. Your cake can be flatter or taller, just as you or your furry friend likes it.
Finally, garnish your cake decoratively with a few Meat Bits or Mono snacks. If you want it to be particularly decorative, you can fill some (dog) liver sausage into a piping bag and decorate your MAC 's dog cake with pretty polka dots.
Important: The cake needs to sit in the fridge for about an hour before serving, but don't serve it too cold to your dog.

Good to know:
How much dog biscuits can my dog eat?
Our MAC 's dog biscuits are only intended for very special occasions and several dogs, as they are very high in calories. Dogs that are overweight should receive a corresponding amount less from their normal daily ration.
How long does the homemade mac ’s dog biscuit last MAC
The cake will keep for 3-4 days in the fridge, but make sure to put it out 1-2 hours before serving. Very cold food can cause stomach ache in dogs.

- Participation in our MAC 's 30 Years competition is done by purchasing a 30 Years Special Edition product and posting a party photo tagging MAC 's Instagram page ( mac spetfood) or sending the photo by email to promotion@propet .de.
- Participation is only possible within the above-mentioned period. The photo must be posted or submitted by December 31, 2023 (11:59 p.m.) at the latest in order to take part in the competition.
- Only one submitted entry and therefore participation is possible per participant.
Eligibility:
- Natural persons over the age of 18 who are resident in Germany or Austria are eligible to participate.
Profit:
- All participants who completed our survey will receive 30 vouchers for our online shop: https://shop. mac s-tierfutter.com/ raffles off. (each 10 x 15 EUR, 10 x 30 EUR and 10 x 50 EUR)
Winner Determination and Notification:
- The winners will be determined after the end as part of a random raffle among all participants.
- The prize will be handed over exclusively to the winner.
- An exchange or a cash payment of the winnings are not possible. The winners of the raffle will be informed promptly via email/Instragram message.

- Any liability on the part of the organizer for meeting the technical requirements for timely participation in the competition is excluded.
