The (major) difference between classic dry food and our Soft is the moisture content. This is a question many pet owners have. As a general rule of thumb, we recommend starting at 12 months of age. However, depending on the breed and development of the young animal, switching to a new food may be advisable earlier or later. Since we don't know your pet, it's best to consult your veterinarian about when a change is appropriate.
Very few animals tolerate a radical change in diet from one day to the next. This often leads to diarrhea and is frequently mistakenly attributed to an intolerance.
If you want to transition your pet gently, we recommend doing so gradually mac Mix a quarter of the new food with the current food and increase the amount a little each day. Within a week, you can achieve a smooth transition.
