We support this good cause with great joy! For this reason, in 2024 we are raffling off a feed supply for an entire year together with the Kynos Foundation. Value of 100 euros, winner Katharina can now spoil her bitch every month with the delicious menus from our online shop . We are very happy to support them and to make everyday life easier.

The training

The training of assistance dogs is individually and is precisely adapted to the needs of the dog owner. Nevertheless, an assistance dog must show certain characteristic properties: motivation for learning and serenity in terms of humans, animals and location are the basic prerequisite for training. Together with specialized trainers, the keeper-dog team learns mutual trust and trains the necessary methods. A basic distinction is made between blind leader dogs, service dogs and signal dogs.

In Germany there is currently no uniform generally recognized examination for assistance dogs. Nevertheless, the owner and dog go through an apprenticeship with a final exam in order to have access to public institutions as a certified team. According to public sources, qualified state examination centers will be planned in the future.

Our winning team

The Goldendoodle dog Pepper accompanies Katharina in everyday life: As a PSB assistance (assistant to psychosocial
care), she was trained to assess situations independently and to support Katharina in emergency situations. For example, Pepper gets help, brings the medication bag, soothes your mistress in danger or shields her from other people if necessary. As a result, Katharina feels more security in public spaces and moves more easily through everyday life. Just a strong team, right?
